About Captain Sawyer

Hi, I’m Sawyer Wales, owner and captain of Blue’s Charters. I’ve spent years on the Gulf Coast waters, starting as a deckhand before earning my captain’s license and launching my own charter business. While building my experience on the water, I also earned my degree from Auburn University, balancing college life with summers spent fishing and working as a captain along the Gulf Coast.

Today, I’m proud to share my passion for fishing with others through Blue’s Charters. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your first time offshore, my goal is to provide a safe, family-friendly, and memorable experience on the water. I love helping guests catch fish, learn about the Gulf, and make memories they’ll talk about for years to come!
